Gillian is a licensed Architect under the Ontario Association of Architects who began her career in Europe before continuing her practice in Canada. Her time in Scotland and the Netherlands shaped a design perspective defined by regional materials, craft traditions and a strong awareness of climate and landscape. As Principal Architect, she leads Dogwood Studio Architecture with an emphasis on longevity, environmental responsibility and a deep respect for place. Gillian’s work reflects a commitment to architecture that endures; responsive, expressive and closely connected to the communities it supports.

Savannah Salt
Savannah is an Architectural Designer who graduated from Algonquin College. Her early work on institutional, civic and industrial projects across Canada strengthened her deep understanding of building codes and the importance of accessible environments. She brings a practical, common‑sense approach to commercial and mixed‑use developments. Savannah’s work reflects a belief that well‑considered architecture should be intuitive to navigate, inclusive for all people, and attentive to how spaces are actually used.

Jennie Philipow
Jennie is an Intern Architect whose experience has been primarily focused on custom residential projects in Toronto. A graduate of the McEwen School of Architecture in Sudbury, she is particularly interested in material exploration and drawing processes that derive architectural narratives from the site and its context. Her work also spans a range of other project typologies, bringing a design‑driven, exploratory sensibility to each project. Jennie is committed to creating architecture that feels grounded, purposeful and shaped by the character of place.
