Hicock House

Delta, Ontario

The owners of this designated heritage home in Delta, Ontario requested a new porch to extend their existing concrete landing. Because of the home’s heritage status, the design focused on maintaining the character, proportions and detailing of the original structure. Materials, trim profiles and construction methods were selected to align closely with the existing house, ensuring the addition feels cohesive and historically appropriate.

The resulting porch provides a functional, sheltered entry while preserving the architectural identity of the Hicock House. It enhances everyday use without compromising the heritage value that defines the property.
